WP: World Bank Orders Probe of Wolfowitz, Salary Scandal

"The World Bank's board of directors said in a statement today that it has ordered an ad hoc group of board members to "urgently" conduct a far-reaching investigation into problems raised by bank president Paul D. Wolfowitz's involvement in arranging a compensation and promotions package for his companion, a bank employee. The board did not set a timeframe on the committee's deliberations.
