CNN: Rep Adam Putnam(R) calls for Gonzales resignation

CNN is reporting that Rep. Adam Putnam (R-FL), the Chairman of the Republican Conference and the number three in the House Republican leadership, has said that Gonzales should resign.

CNN quotes him as saying that " did not distinguish himself in the hearing... there remains a cloud over the Department... I think they would be well served by fresh leadership."
