A Good Doctor
He was amazing. He looked me right in the eye and explained with remarkable clarity what the problem was; and he showed me on the x-rays where my previous doctors' efforts had failed and why. Then he described what was needed to fix it and how long it would take and how much work it would be for me. It wasn't pretty. But I decided to trust him because continuing as things were was unthinkable.

Over the next several months there were many moments when I hated him. All the preparatory stuff just plain hurt, and there was a lot of it; he was meticulously careful in every aspect. When the time finally arrived he and his team set to work. They went in and undid some previous damage, took me apart and put me back together, and they found the source of the problem and removed it.

During the rehabilitation process he continued his encouragement, even during those grueling sessions when I blamed him for my discomfort. Years of pain and frustration culminated in several clinics and two hospitals and one rehabilitation facility, a dozen specialists and numerous physical and occupational therapists and home health caregivers - all of them under the direction and supervision of this good doctor. He could have decided it would be too difficult, too costly, too time-consuming. Instead he made it possible for me to walk again.

Small wonder that I recommend him to my friends.
