I just had to say this..
the other night I tuned in for a second to Huckabee. I know I shouldn't have done it. I saw chuck woolery of love connection talking about how he is a conservative and how he was running for the house or the senate but that is not my main point.

I was watching Huckabee and listening to his little monologue he gives every week trying to portray himself as the all knowlegable all mighty while judging our president. Now,I know a lot of you DUers don't believe in God but,I do so as I watched and my anger began growing,.

I began praying and asking the Lord to bring something out in the open about Huckabee which would show the world that he is not this so called perfect person he professes to be and what did I receive in a big bow this morning? Huckabee the all knowing, all perfect let out the guy who murdered the policemen. Now,lets see how he spins this...

ANYTHING ANYWHERE praying for "bad things to happen to political enemies." Yes, it is becoming freep republic but NOT for the reasons you indicate.

You know, you have to believe at one moment he is the all powerful son of God and at the same time he is the Prince of Peace who respects human free will to the point he allowed for his own torture and execution rather than releasing wrath and judgement on his accusers.

one of the consequences stemming from the Garden of Eden. His crucification had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with respecting free will.

I have a problem with the idea of a Diety that drops a forbidden fruit in the middle of a Garden tells people not to eat it and leaves talking snakes around to tempt them than punishes them with death

I look at is, nomadic tribal, myths based on authoritarian principles.

60. But that is exactly what you said! Re-read your last two posts!
What Job said was truthfully stated BUT NOT a statement of truth! Job was WRONG in thinking that God caused all the bad things to happen to him (refer to John 10:10) NOR does Satan ask permission to do evil! Where on earth did you GET that crap!! No wonder pseudo christians are so screwed up! When destruction comes to any righteous man, it is done by satan, NOT God. Secondly, Gentiles (Christians) do not fall under the old covenant. The old covenant stayed in place until Christ died, then the NEW covenant began and begins with the Book of Acts.

The destruction that happened in the Old Testament was a JUDGMENT by God. In the new covenant the righteous are dealt with from a parental standpoint.

Why do you suppose God has not seen fit to EVER answer in the affirmative the prayers of the millions of amputees in the world? Surely at least one of them is worthy of a healing miracle, ie, the spontaneous restoration of the amputated limb. Otherwise, they'd have to be in a special class all by themselves in God's eyes, wouldn't they?

as he solemnly criticized the Dems and Obama and stated we needed to take our country BACK, as if the EIGHT year Bush disaster through Republican "leadership" and conservative policies that drove our country and the world of moral and fiscal bankruptcy NEVER happened and things would be glorious if Conservatives could regain control again. 38. Since Huckabee let him out before you prayed...
was your prayer really answered?

Or did God, being omnipotent and beyond time, know you were going to pray last night for this, and did He therefore make Huckabee grant the shooter clemency back then?

And, doesn't it seem a little weird that He would use the deaths of four people with families to derail a political race?

How does this work?

53. Well i don't
think that butterfly77 prayed for the deaths of police officers so that a politician could look foolish. She prayed that his foolishness would be seen by the world. As for everyone who choses to believe or not to believe, that is a personal choice. But whatever happened i am glad that people see things from all sides. My heart goes out to every law enforcement family that has ever lost a love one. But Mr. Huckabee can go suck a frogs ass. the rhetoric he spits out his mouth can only come from the pits of hell so as far as i am concerned whatever heat he gets from this is only where his heart and integritiy are. And one thing is for sure 2012 won't be a good year for his stank ass. Talk about they want their country back well maybe now some of you see what the hell would happen if his ass was to rule the country. Maybe i should start preaching on republicon f--kups.}( }( }( }(
