Bush: "Its an Interesting war..."
Wow. Our scholar in chief is studying this war, analyzing its finer points.

In response to Harry Reid's statement that the war can only be won diplomatically, politically and economically, Dimson replied that, "It's an interesting war ... where asymmetric warfare" employs suicide bombers to wreak havoc and, with the resultant media coverage, use the bombings to help "define whether or not we're successful," Bush said.

Not horrible.

Not deplorable.

Not sickening.

Not troubling.

No, none of those things.

To Bush, sitting in his command and control rooms, this war is INTERESTING.

10. I think Harry Reid should propose to him.
Who knows where he can buy a good disengagement ring?

3. and isn't that clever how he sneaks in the slug regarding the 'liberal' media
yes, he's a clever, clever boy, that one. :eyes:

I'm sure the thousands of dead that resulted from this 'interesting' illegal invasion would find it interesting, too, if they hadn't been blown to bits by "Shock and Awe", or some such subsequent campaign. :grr:

4. What the hell does he know about 'interesting' wars, or any war?
'I don't recall' him ever even being in one, in fact, didn't he run and hide?

6. He said the exact same thing about 9/11
"It was a very interesting day."

The man hasn't been interested in anything but himself since he was hatched.

while his mouth catches up with his brain, or that's what it looks like.

9. True, true. Sometimes he invents words or makes faces or goes, "heh heh heh."
It's kind of sad, really, that this is the leader of the free world.

23. I wonder if he could say, "The commies are coming!"
My first husband got discharged because he couldn't without stuttering. That was a good day and meant he didn't have to be in the last wave of 'Nam draftees. :woohoo:

8. "Interesting" is interesting.
You have to wonder just what kind of a war he envisioned before he started it. Did he think it would be a set piece series of battles between armies using tanks, artillery, etc?

In a way it kinda explains his "Mission Accomplished" speech on the aircraft carrier.

are dying. This is not interesting, it's a travesty.

14. You have to understand that this is a man with deep scientific curiosity
even as a young boy he was somewhat of a prodigy - why, he was so curious about the affect explosives can have on living creatures, he conducted scientific experiments. He stuffed firecrackers into living frogs and set them off just to see what would happen. He finds such things very interesting.

He had a little trouble as a kid trying to document his experiments, though; he would go into giggle-fits as the bits of flesh splattered all over the place, and oftentimes feel a compulsion to take a timeout for self-gratification. With his memory problem, by then he'd have forgotten the whole thing, and just do it again rather than writing it up.

19. Don't you know he was real impressed with himself for using the
word "asymmetric" hence this rather intellectual persona commenting on how "interesting" his war is, for the benefit of those of us who don't normally notice how interesting some things are, of course.

22. Shame he didn't satisfy his "interest" in wars when he had the chance to participate in one
first hand. You know, Vietnam. Maybe then he would have felt repulsion rather than interest in the idea of starting and illegal and unnecessary war later in life.

I have long ago given up any expectation of anything approaching humanity, intelligence, or basic awareness, emitting from the fratboy's mouth.
