1. If I had a sinking suspicion I was only getting socks
I'm pretty much the Pope of False Hope, and I don't see this happening.

3. A nice fantasy, but even if it happens, it ain't going anywhere.
It's WAY too little and WAY too soon.

I hope you didn't get your hopes up too high.

14. Heh
The last time a president was impeached just a small core of people made it happen, and they didn't have the reasons we do today.

Still, if you want to sit on the sidelines and throw spitballs at the people who ARE working for the right thing, you just go ahead.

We'll do it without you.

11. If I were him, I'd stay off of any private transportation. Period. And watch whatcha eat.
Corzine may or may not be able to attest to that, recently. It sounds a bit paranoid, but hey, I'd believe anything at this point.

Nixon Admin is to "Watergate and Surveillance" as Dubya Admin is to "COMPLETELY SATURATED IN SCANDAL AND CORRUPTION": Forever associated with in the history books.

here's another analogy: Boosh Admin is to War on Terror as Tony Soprano et. al. is to Waste Management.

I could go on all day. The Executive Branch is ranking member of the Mob these days.

9. Wrong target, but if true, it's a good start.
I would prefer seeing this effort go all the way to the top. But okay. I'll gladly take cheney if that's what's offered (for now). I will not be satisfied that this takes care of it, though.

10. I am proud of the Democratic Party.
Once more, they have risen to the occassion. You know that one of the main differences between the left and the right is that the left believes that people are essentially good? Why would anyone vote for someone who believes otherwise? It's simple logic that anyone who would believe that people are essentially bad would have lower standards, don't you think?

22. You have no idea what's about to happen, do you?
He's going to introduce the articles, and they will die in committee.

And that will be that.

17. rather touchy aren't we?

I am one who actually prefers to have hated people in the WH. I personally believe that having Cheney and Bush around will continue building the tide of resentment against Republicans and will help bring a Democrat into the WH in '08.

I will also bet my reputation that nothing will come of this inquiry. My pessimism is warranted based on the goals of the Dems as I see them. Do you disagree?

And my goal is to impeach. Your's, it appears, is to keep them in office.
Since you are a pessimist, you may be useless to my goals, eh?

24. I do nat think the votes in the senate are there to remove him
Good reason or not, I do not see us getting a 2/3's vote. And I see this potentially hurting us in 2008. It will energize the right, and may turn off the middle. Just like the reps run on Bill did.

13. Not sure of the date...I called his office for details and the lady..
that answered the phone said she didn't have any information on when it would be.

I asked if there would be some public event that people could attend. She didn't know. She wanted to know where I saw the April 25th date so I directed her to www.Rawstory.com

20. when Dennis introduces this, I bet you will hear boo's coming
from the other side of aisle, you can bet on it, they will say everything, it's a witch hunt, it's a waste of time. Yes, you will hear everything, then you see the true "unpatriotic" representatives, because they would rather protect their asses and their parties instead of us. Should be interesting.
