in the Macy's parade --- the cast of "Hair" singing "Aquarius". Spectacular!

3. Some good memories from that.
I remember being somewhat amazed to get a call from my godmother in Denver, inviting me to dinner and a play; we often got together, but that she had tickets for "Hair" was completely unexpected. After dinner we went to Boulder where the traveling troupe was performing. It was delightful to discover that she knew the lyrics and was able to sing along, and she was one of the first audience members to join the cast on stage for the finale. Til the day she died she loved talking about that, and having that memory triggered this morning gave me yet one more thing to be thankful for. I still miss you, AB!

4. As kids we listened to that album again and again.
It pops up in my memory at the weirdest times, thanks for bringing it back! :hi:

5. my very first date
i was 14, and we saw it at the Aquarius theater in LA on its first run. a good time. i never watch parades but this thread's got me thinking i should take a look, maybe it's on youtube?
