When it comes to getting real news, people apparently know to shut off Fox Noise and go elsewhere. During yesterday's unwrapping of the envelope delivered to NBC, viewers 25-54 catapulted Keith Olbermann on MSNBC and Paula Zahn on CNN over Bill O'Reilly on Fox.

But Bill's a journalist! He is! He is! He is!

If the only way to beat Bill O'Reilly is to air exclusive footage of some deranged killer (which in my opinion, has no business being on tv in the first place), well, that ain't saying much.

Don't get me wrong, I love Keith and think he's the best thing to happen to cable news ever. and Bill-O is, well, I don't really know what he is, but I know that I can't stand the guy. But, still. I guess I just will never understand the logic in airing that footage.

8. Faux's Coverage = Leftovers

Anytime a REAL news story breaks, Faux Noise ratings take a dive. That's because they aren't a REAL news channel. They react as opposed to act on a story of this type. They rely on affiliates, that themselves are bare bones operations that are barely lucky to get the weather forecast right. The only "journalist" on their staff is "ahem" Geraldo! :rofl:

Even the most fervent knuckle draggers turn to CNN and MSNBC when a real news story hits.
