From 9-11 to the escalation of the wars, somethings rotten in America
What the fuck America? What the fuck president Obama? Are we sending in more troops because 3000 people were murdered on 9-11? Or is it to make America safer? Or is it to keep the opium flowing? Keep the money rolling in? I am sick to death about what has happened to America since 9-11.

I'm not talking about conspiracy theories, it isn't even a theory anymore, it's the biggest god damned conspiracy ever, and we're all a part of it, like it or not.

FINISH THE JOB in Afghanistan? What the fuck IS the 'job'?

Ladies and gentlemen, we are all being played for fools. Now we're all turning on each other when we should be focusing on the real culprits, our own government and it's so called leaders.

Strip away the lies, the illusions, the noise and the bullshit, and look at it warts and all, look at the chain of events that began in 2000, leading up to the present day and what do you see? Ugly isn't it?

It's going to get a lot uglier and you know it.

1. uglier is the only direction things like this go
until, ultimately, the wheels come off. It's happened to every empire throughout history, largely for the same reasons: apathy, arrogance and corruption. These are the hallmarks of empire, and likewise the seeds of their demise.

5. We need to start betting anything who thinks this is a good idea money once and if they define it.
I bet one could make a lot of money telling folks who think Afghanistan is a good way to spend time/money/lives to "nut up or shut up."

8. What is the job? ...To clean up that area around Helmand Province
so that the pipelines can be built.

Yesterday, on the Diane Rehm show, a caller stated just that, and the guests seemed almost frantic to dismiss and pooh-pooh the issue. And, boy, did they ever move on quickly. Zip! And not a word from Ms. Rehm. Don't want the proles to start saying, "Hmm, let's look at this in more detail."

IMO, this is the SOLE reason we're there. The idea that we're sending our young men and women halfway around the world to die to ensure that women are treated better or that girls can go to school is crazy beyond words. And the idea that we're going to defeat the Taliban is crazier still.

Obama knows. That's why he's so vague about our "mission". It's all about resources. This is all going to come to a bad end, just like Vietnam.

9. I completely agree...
Just having a LONG talk with my wife this morning...she's still willing to give Obama the benefit of the doubt, but to me, the Afghanistan escalation is the final straw...So, we send MORE untrained National Guardsmen/women over there? We spend MORE money over there? THERE IS NO "FINISHING THE JOB". And it's not just our government, it's the corporations & top 1% that truly don't care about us at all...

I agree, we haven't BEGUN to experience the ugliness that's coming our way...
