Proof that some of the dumbest people live in Ohio
At a strip mall in Columbus (Im ashamed), this reporter went to a a book signing at Borders to ask people who turned off Fox News long enough to stand in line why they support Sarah Palin...hilarity ensues.

I always feared that half the country became consumed with temporary insanity after 9/11 now
I fear it isn't temporary.

1. OMG, I just watched that on Huffpo (and couldn't post on it there; frustrating!).
Stupid really is scary. As I watched the Foxbots, I couldn't help but think that you could probably teach a dog to understand all the buzzwords they repeated. I'll bet even a dog has better analytical thinking skills than these buffoons.

Scary. Morons with guns (I'm sure) and ballots.
:scared:

2. And some of the best.
Since they regularly vote Kucinich in to represent them.

As for the other half...

"She makes me proud to be a woman..."

OMG :puke:

"The epitomy of conservativeness."

Personally, I'd like to see her discredited right NOW before that brand of insanity gains any momentum.

3. Ohio is a blue state
And was instrumental in putting Obama in the whitehouse

Lets keep putting them down. I'm sure that will keep it blue in 2010 and 2012

9. I lived there for 35 years
Edited on Tue Nov-24-09 08:11 PM by yodoobo
In deep red Butler county. Just a few miles from John Boners house as it happened.

SO I understand the frustration. (hugs)

But guess what. Its frustrating everywhere. Now I have different frustrations living in wake county NC.

I was quite proud though to see Ohio go blue last time around, even though I wasn't there to help make it happen.

I would really like it to stay blue.

(Fwiw. there *ARE* some really dumb people on that video. But I just hate to paint the whole state that way)

17. Miami of Ohio to Wake Forest. An academic, I presume.
Butler County turned red and voted Boner in while I lived there ... 1992, iirc.

Sad. But deep down, Ohio is blue. If it weren't for Cincy, Ohio would be very solidly blue.

18. Cincy is a progressive town
Hasnt been a Republican mayor in YEARS, City Council has long had a Dem majority, the city is also 40% African American so just do the numbers and you can see that Cincy is solid blue.

Hamilton County on the other hand....

Take it away, Green Day:

Don't want to be an American idiot.
Don't want a nation under the new media
And can you hear the sound of hysteria?
The subliminal mind fuck America.

Welcome to a new kind of tension.
All across the alien nation.
Where everything isn't meant to be okay.
Television dreams of tomorrow.
We're not the ones who're meant to follow.
For that's enough to argue.

Well maybe I'm the faggot America.
I'm not a part of a redneck agenda.
Now everybody do the propaganda.
And sing along to the age of paranoia.

Welcome to a new kind of tension.
All across the alien nation.
Where everything isn't meant to be okay.
Television dreams of tomorrow.
We're not the ones who're meant to follow.
For that's enough to argue.

Don't want to be an American idiot.
One nation controlled by the media.
Information age of hysteria.
It's calling out to idiot America.

Welcome to a new kind of tension.
All across the alien nation.
Where everything isn't meant to be okay.
Television dreams of tomorrow.
We're not the ones who're meant to follow.

...the humidity is horrible. And the bugs??? Yuck.

I went back to Ohio a few times after I moved ~~ that was in the early 1960s when I was a teenager. I saw them having a parade with the HS band for the opening of a Burger King in my old home town...
