Sherrod Brown says now is the time to lobby our pols more than ever regarding health care.

He says we can still get some good public option legislation if we keep up the phone calls and letters to our reps and Senators before and during the time it goes to debate. We should also tell them what we think of the mandates. He said our lobbying has already has done some good because the bill that emerged from the Senate would have been much weaker than it is now had we not. He says special attention also should be given to letting Harry Reid and President Obama know what we want. He said the insurance, PhRMA and medical equipment manufacturers lobbyists are pulling out all the stops now and that we need to make a strong counter effort to theirs. So don't give up. We can't afford lobbyists but we can do it ourselves. I know it's been a hard pull up until now but we can't let go. We must keep up the pressure until it's all over with and not before. I was listening to him on the Ed Schultz Show on the radio earlier if anyone wants to know. I doubt if the transcript is up yet.
