a Reagan mistake? Could we PLEASE take ketchup OFF the list of vegetables? Damn, if that isn't a fuckup!

3. I used to have to travel to Texas for work - they really DO think cows are vegetables.

As a vegetarian, eating in Texas was an exercise in starvation. Hooters used to have a pasta salad that was rather nice. They took it off the menu about 10 years ago. I'd say "I don't eat meat" and they would respond, "well, we have hamburger."

I know in my heart that there are intelligent people SOMEWHERE in Texas. I just never ran into any of them.
