12. In French class, we switched the French lesson tapes

for Monty Python tapes. The hard part was trying to keep from exploding with laughter as we listened through headphones. This is where I heard "Eric the 'alf Bee" ('e 'ad an accident), "Sister Mary Elephant" )claaaass, QUIEEEET!!) "The Theory, by A. Elk" (SHUT UP or I will be forced to shoot you), and a hundred other bits that are seared into my memory, probably because my ears were so close to the speakers.
