17. Yea, I know. Just thought I had to bust the myth that hemp isn't the same plant as marijuana.

For instance Randi Rhodes claims all the time that hemp is "the male marijuana plant" which is completely wrong. It's like saying one tomato variety isn't a tomato plant because it produces small fruits.

Diversity in a plant genus is just how nature works.

technically, narcotics are opioids, but in conventional usage, "narcotics" just refers to illegal drugs.

it's technically wrong from a pharmacology standpoint, but not uncommon.
