I don't know how many noticed this on the MSNBC tape
Obama went to the section at Arlington where the soldiers, sailors, Marines and Airmen of this current mess are buried. So here he is, unannounced talking to people visiting the graves of friends or loved ones. There is this young man kneeling by the grave of a buddy of his. And as the CiC closes this young man snaps to and gives a sharp salute... and the President of the United States returned it, and then talked to him.

This was completely unscripted folks... and wanna bet Sedition TV and Sedition Radio will not play this?

Must See
Josh Marshall | November 12, 2009, 4:06PM
This morning I suggested everyone read James Gordon Meek's piece in today's New York Daily News about his encounter with Obama at Arlington yesterday. Meek is a DC reporter for the NYDN but he was at Arlington visiting a friend's grave.

Meek went on MSNBC today to discuss what happened. Definitely worth you're watching. See the video after the jump.

(at least I believe this is the story you are referring to)

5. That's part of the story
and I will add Bush never did this. You can see the burden of command in the President's eyes... just barely, but you can.

9. I think his eyes were telling when he showed respect for the soldiers behind the flag
draped coffins @ Dover AFB, as well. Something else * never did. I hope he'll defy the military industrial complex and do the right thing, bring our troops home. Afghanistan is mired in corruption and it's a no win situation.

10. Oh the war is over
from all the signals we have gotten. BUT... and this is important, pulling out SAFELY will take months if not a couple years.

It is damn easy to get yourself into a mess like this, but it is damn hard to pull out SAFELY. Realize they need to move units from the far country side to concentration areas, and then further on and further on. That is a PAIN to do safely... or more or less safely.

But the war is essentially over and all that remains is coming out. He is telling them NO.
