Can we Cut the Kucinich Crap Already?

Kucinich is, well Kucinich.

I'm tired of the worship and the bashing. Kucinich will go on being Kucinich. What are we gaining from propping him up and tearing him down? Nothing.

I was an early Kucinich supporter (don't believe me, check my journal from late 2007). But now, I don't appreciate his votes or his strict ideology. Is that wrong? Is it wrong to disagree with him or agree with him? Yes, this is a forum for debate, but the horse is dead Jim. Let's move on already. DU is deeply divided on the good or bad of Kucinich.

There are much better things to do with our time than remain fascinated with this topic. He's shown he's not a team player, but there is valid argument that may not be such a bad thing.

There are actually things IN the health care bill that need our attention, most importantly fixing Stupak so health care can pass at all. Express glee or disappointment in Kucinich, that should take a few hours, and then get the fuck over it. Criminy.

You want DU to be deeply divided over Dennis. That's your wedge issue--hence the repeated mantras we're seeing, attacking Dennis. You want to brand the left with him, and Obama as reasonable by comparison. On this issue, it's not going to work---Obama screwed the pooch on this bill, and did it in broad daylight.
