How did someone get hold of those haircut charges to begin with? Is campaign spending public knowledge? If so, then let's look at the Repub's spending!

3. Thank you!
Every single candidate is paying a lot for their hair, and every other image-related expense there is. They each probably have a paid image consultant even, who is more expensive than any haircut.

Why do people here fall for cheap RW talking points?

5. Is Romney running on defending the poor too?
I agree it's trivial - but it's the campaign theme that makes it juicy.
personally, I'm more bothered by the bankruptcy vote.

9. If he wants to win and actually have a chance to implement
his proposed policies for the poor, he has to project an image of being presidential, and he has to spend a lot on his image to do that.

6. He doesn't have it cut, he has it polished and Armor-alled.
Romney is freakish-looking. I'm suspect of any man who spends that much time on his freakin' hair -- even Edwards.

8. Because the Edwards hair smear probably didn't come from the RNC?
I think it's likely that it came from the Clinton campaign. It smells Carvillian, somehow.

13. Too early. And why Edwards?
Why bother? He comes in third in the national polls. Where he's strong is Iowa--a state Hillary has to win to stay credible in the early going. Iowa's kind of a no-nonsense farm state, supposedly--no doubt all those no-nonsense Iowa farmers will be put off by Edwards's "prettiness." If they're idiots. If they're not, they won't give a flying fuck who cuts his hair or how much it costs.

15. hes consistently lead in Iowa
And hes definately in the game moneywise.

The winner in Iowa is probably EXTREMELY important for momentum and with all those primaries coming so close after it.

And as you say the Iowa farmers dont care about his hair, well there isnt much else they have on Edwards.
