Even on NPR
It seems they were saying the terrible shit going on in our Country is making Obama's Presidency look bad. He cannot be blamed! This is not his fault! God help our President! He HAS to start saying, DAILY, that he did not create this mess, he inherited it!

1. Yes. And they are also saying that two republic governors being elected is
a referendum against the president.

Never mind that two congressional democrats were elected and that they will have far more influence making national policy than the governors.

I am so sick of the NPR apologists. An organization that once was not afraid to call out any politician, now knuckles under so that it can continue sucking the government tit.

2. If you mean Obama in "He has to start saying" it will do no good
During the summer Obama was reminding folks that it was not his mess and it gave the M$M especially the FUX propaganda station the perfect opening to really rail on Obama.
Face it, it makes no difference what Obama (or for that matter any Dem leader) says or does it will be twisted into a bizarro interpretation that puts Dems in the worst light possible.
FUX in particular and the rest of the M$M essentially declared war on Obama on Nov. 4, 2008. You know the reasons. But of course one of the most galling aspects of all is NPR often simply repeating talking points and passing it off as their news. NPR is a big, big media corporation that does not seek to rock the boat. So they continue to live off their laurels and uncritical listeners absorb what they give out without thinking.
I could go on. I used to be a huge NPR listener. These days I seldom listen. Usually I end up screaming at my radio.

5. Didn't you know? The new thing is for everyone to keep
both feet up Obama's ass, regardless of Party.

He has engendered true bipartisanship......but it's all against anything he does or says.

It's sickening.

The extreme left is worse than the conservadems.....

7. Or when they do win, their hands are tied to get anything done!
I mean, we could leave the Republicans on an island somewhere,
and we'd still wouldn't get shit done.

There are those who want everything, and they want it now,
and if they can't have it now, then they want nothing.....
which in reality is the exact same position the Republicans hold.

9. Pray tell who these congressman and women that you speak of?
Last time I checked we weren't an Athenian democracy where the people vote on federal issues.

8. What?
Seriously...the extreme left does nothing to restrict anything in this country....because the extreme left have about 3 reps in all of congress.

If you are talking about the progressive caucus, everytime the President calls them, they end up voting for what he wants, they may bitch and moan....but they end up doing it.
