The 2 arrested shooting suspects have been released

Looks like Hasan was a loner.

The two suspects arrested shortly after the shooting have been released, according to the office of U.S. Rep. John Carter, R-Round Rock, whose district includes Fort Hood.

2. To be fair, it was reported that there were three GUNMEN pretty consistently.

I don't think it was out of bounds to assume it was coordinated.

it was reported that way. It was also reported that there were shooting incidents at other locations that occurred AFTER he was already killed.

What was anyone supposed to think? MSNBC is not reporting the two suspects have been released.

19. Ed just interviewed Rep Carter.

He said the 2 suspects were released, but that a 4th individual was in custody and being questioned. MSNBC has not been able to independently confirm this report as of yet.

10. ...and my speculation was confirmed

Since I know that 99.9% of everything I hear in the immediate aftermath of any crisis is going to be wrong, it's become something of a hobby to make bets with myself as to what really happened, what is partially correct, etc.

In this case, my bet with myself, well over 2 hours ago, was that it would turn out to be just the one guy.

I get stuff like that correct quite often, which tells me there is a pattern to the hysteria; but I couldn't tell you off hand what that pattern is.

14. MSNBC reporting 2 soldiers have been released but a third has been

taken into custody. The third was picked up very recently and is being questioned.
