Eric Cantor=deluded asshole
Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA), a leader among House Republicans and a potential national candidate in 2012, just finished telling the crowd at Bob McDonnell's victory party in Virginia that the GOP's clean sweep of statewide offices tonight signals the beginning of a new era for Republicans across the country.

"Tonight's great victories show we the people are fed up with the Obama, Pelosi, Kaine agenda," he told a cheering crowd.

"Thank you for supporting freedom," he added at the end of his remarks. "Because of you, the Republican resurgence begins here in Virginia."

Yeah Eric, I don't think so. You won a battle, you are losing the war.

1. Based on that logic, Mark Warner's win in 2001 was a rejection of Chimpy.

2. Cantor is So Stupid
When he was on Hardball with Chris Matthews, that came up and he had no answer. A smarter man would have been prepared for that question.

4. HA ha ha, what a tool.
Republicans are as supportive of freedom as I am of unbridled corporatism. The only freedom they want is the freedom to rule our asses.

I sure hope Cantor's a national candidate. Palin/Cantor 2012 - Because the Reagan vs Mondale Landslide HAS to be Shattered.

9. in case cantor didn't notice, four years ago repubs won two of three statewide races in VA
Virginia is still more red than blue; however, the independent/moderate voters in the state, if joined by an energized Democratic base, can swing the state if/when there is a compelling candidate making a compelling case for his/her election. That happened in 2001 (Warner) and 2005 (Kaine). It didn't happen with Deeds.
