to run our health care system for us? They do it for 1/3 less per capita than we do under our present "system." (I can't bring myself to refer to the mess in America as a "system" without encasing it in quotes.) Let the Canucks run it for us, I say, and we'd have enough left over for a pretty nice tax cut.

1. If our pols can't get us a decent access to health care program, maybe we can convince the

Canadians to allow us to buy into their Medicare. Maybe when Congress sees all those USA dollars going north, they might do something. Also, it would give Americans a choice not to buy private insurance. If all these different countries can bring their banks here and take our jobs overseas, why can't we also have an option to buy into their health care?

2. Only one problem.

The US doesn't have a system to run. There is no system here. It is just a badly wired together hodgepodge of mismatched parts. In order for the Canadians to want to come down here we would have to let them set up a system (meaning single payer) and we all know how likely that is.
