2009 Obama Agenda Survey, from the RNC
Accidentally sent to a liberal household.

Get this: the opening letter begins, "Please carefully read and complete the <b>2009 Obama Agenda Survey</b>". Like you'd have to tell a liberal that. What, you mean read it first before making up a sign?

1. Do you agree with Barack Obama's budget plan that will lead to a $23.1 trillino deficit over the next ten years? -- No - It's not going to happen.

2. Do you believe the federal government has gone too far in bailing out failing banks, insurance companies and the auto industry? -- Yes - Aside from the auto industry, which is quetionable, the others were just corporate welfare.

3. Do you support Amnesty for illegal immigrants? -- No

4. Should English be the official language of the United States -- No

5. Are you in favor of granting retroactive Social Security eligibility to illegal immigrants who gain U.S. citizenship through an amnety program? -- Yes

6. Are you in favor of the expanded welfare benefits and unlimited eligibility (no time, education or work requirements) that the Democrats in Congress are pushing to pass? -- Yes - Not aware of any such outlandish plans, but extended unemployment benefits, in these times, and subsidized education could do quite a bitof good.

7. Do you believe that Barrack Obama's nominees for federal courts should be immediately and unquestionably approved for their lifetime appointments by the U. S. Senate? -- No - I would hope that Congressional honor would preclude such craven behavior, unlike as we've only seen from 2000-2008 under you guys. Why should one branch of government ever abdicate one of its checks over another?

8. Do you believe that the best way to increase the quality and effectiveness of public education in the U. S. is to rapidly expand federal funding while eliminating performance standards and accountability? -- Yes

9. Do you support the creation of a national health insurance plan that would be administered by bureaucrats in Washington, D. C.? -- Yes

10. Do you believe that the quality ad availability of healthcare will increase if the federal government dictates pricing to doctors and hospitals? -- No - Why should that ever happen in a single-payer system? Govt should pay the going rate, if necessary. But health would improve with a single-payer system, and that's what healthcare should be all about.

11. Are you confident that new medicines and medical treatments will continue to be developed if the federal government controls prescription drug prices and sets profit margins for research and pharmaceutical companies? -- Yes - Ever heard of the Manhattan Project, or the moon landing? Government is the best sponsor of medicines and other research programs suited for the well-being of the people. That way we don't end up with five different ways to get a dick hard.

12. Are you in favor of creating a government-funded "Citizen Volunteer Corps" that would pay young people to do work now done by churches and charities, arning Corps Members the same pay and benefits given to military veterans? -- Yes - First of all, the G. I. Bill was the best investment this country ever made, and it should be a full ride to college for any veteran, if he or she chooses. I would extend the same benefits to civilians who wanted to teach, for instance, or do other volunteer work for pay, or better yet credit for education. Loan forgiveness perhaps.

13. Are you in favor of reinstituting the military draft, as Democrats in Congress have proposed? -- No

14. Do you believe that the federal government should allow the unionization of Department of Homeland Security employees who serve in positions critical to the safety and security of our nation? -- Yes

15. Do you support Democrats' drive to eliminate workers' right to a private ballot when considering unionization of their place of employment? -- Yes
