Scozzafava (NY23d) dropping out is *big trouble* ...... for Republicans
Shorter version of what was already posted here yes by me :hi:

Newt and Dick and the rest really have created a monster/ "awoken a sleeping giant" as they themselves were told to say.

The great advantage the Republicans always had were of course money and a strict hierarchy of conveying "the message" (and "staying on message" as the MSM uses as an excuse). Now suddenly that is clearly gone.

This could just be the Dick Armey swooping into the power void in the party but extremism does not sell well with the public. That is what Dick and Newt and Haley and all the southern boys want and at this point clearly all that the "sleeping giant" will stand for.

Good luck with that.

Hoffman winning would be a nightmare for the GOP/RNC

2. Exactly- with 3 days left?
poll numbers and lack of money...hmmm look what Fox News is reporting about money from the RNCC

Ken Spain, a spokesman for the NRCC, said Scozzafava will now release her supporters to vote for Hoffman.

That endorsement will set in motion phone banks, voter e-mails and other NRCC ground operations for Hoffman, GOP sources told Fox News, adding that the NRCC may also provide money for TV and radio ads if any slots are available and the campaign needs them.

Where was the money for the actual nominee of their own party????

BTW- notice that Ken Spain just declared that "Scozzafava will now release her supporters to vote for Hoffman" when she has done no such thing from anything I have read so far. Oh well, message sent--Fox News and the MSM will report it as fact now.

3. IT sure is - I've been more worried that Dede would strip votes from Owens than Hoffman...
Club for Growth has been running "positive" ads for Scozzafava proclaiming she's in favor of marriage rights for GLBT and stands with President Obama on economic issues.

4. Will they be voting on lever machines?
Or are they participating in an ES&S "pilot" program. Who will be running the tabulating computer, and is it completely off-line to all other computers?

7. Every county in New York has a pilot program.
In my county, the pilot consists of one out of the three largest towns, or about 12% of the population of the county. The voting machine tallies itself, and it's not connected to any other computers.

9. I love this.
Do they really think that thrusting their extremism into the limelight by beating up their more moderate side will endear them to the public at large?

Did they EVER even stop to think how this might harm their cause?

lmao.
