Halloween Costumes were better this year
Less kids wearing Wal-Mart crap, more kids in home made costumes.

Guess it is a sign of the recession.

3. Great time for kids
I liked Halloween better than Christmas.

My mom always would make our costumes from scratch using patterns from the fabric shop.

9. My mother made me the greatest costumes!
I won more costume contests when I was a kid, than any other kid I knew! I used to feel sorry for the kids with store bought costumes, cuz it was always so much more fun to make one. I think it's one reason why I still love Halloween!

I'm another one who likes Halloween better than Christmas. My house is all decorated with bats, skeletons, withces & of course, Jack-o'lanterns! At Christmas, I don't put up a thing - not even a tree.

:hi:

11. Moms are the greatest
My brother is autistic and was obsessed with Star Trek. She made him a costume for one Halloween. Only problem is that after Halloween it was the only thing he wanted to wear for 6 months.

4. I was at a store in San Francisco yesterday that was totally packed.
A lot of tacky junk. Homemade costumes are way more fun.

My girlfriend is making me a monocle and I'm going to talk in a funny accent all night.
