2. Ed's show is a whole lot of stupid today
His guests are ignoring the fact that the President has already stated he wont sign a bill without a PO. And since then he has reitterated it dozens of times.

I don't think Ed understands how our govenment works. Congress makes law, not the Executive. Most people learn that in grade school.

Strange show tonight.

3. Not President Obama - he has said he prefers a public option but is open to other suggestions

7. That's what I heard him say. He's very weak
on the PO, and has done a complete about face on Mandated Insurance, claiming his thinking has 'evolved'. I don't think you call it evolved when you were right inititially and then take the same wrong position taken by Republicans. He now supports RomneyCare as far as I can tell.

Good for Dennis for trying to keep them honest, but it's a Herculean job. He needs help from other Democrats.

Six weeks is that we have to get this all important legislation done and DONE NOW!

This piece of crap legislation being part and parcel of the deal that Obama has brokered.

11. Why do we want a public option that is neither public nor an option?
90% not even allowed to consider it, and not available until 2013.

12. So tell me this - Who put the Civil Rights Legislation together?
Please name the Congressman who put the legislation together in the House. And the Senator who put it together in the Senate.

Very few in America would know the names of those people. But when anyone mentions the Civil Rights Act, they mention LBJ. In the same breath. Always.

8. We'll be lucky for the US to stand in it's present form
I see it splitting apart. You think the tea baggers were bad, just let this stuff slip through our fingers. Desperate people do desperate things
