They are well on their way in executing their game plan.

1. Corrupt the plan such that it will serve few people, be very expensive (for both taxpayers and enrollees), be overly complex (insurance exchanges with lots of plan choices), and generate lots of opportunities for fraud and waste.
2. Make lots of public statements about how terrible the plan is
3. Make sure that it passes, just barely. If they have to sacrifice a Republican to vote for it, they will.
4. Spend the next year and the next 3 years bitching about the public plan boondoggle, telling the public they told us so!

3. Social security and Medicare are in no way equivalent to what is coming to the floor in Congress

4. Right, they're much much bigger
And the rigt wing have been trying to kill them forever.

The bill coming to the floor is so simple. Subsidies for everyone to purchase private insurance or government insurance, stricter regulations on insurance, and mandates for individuals and business.

That's it. Don't help them confuse it.
