The First Rule of Class War..
You don't talk about class war.

"There's class warfare, all right, but it's my class, the rich class, that's making war, and we're winning." -Warren Buffett, New York Times, November 26, 2006.

3. He helps his pocket book. But he also has
Pleaded with various people in power to re-consider Prop thirteen in California. He has praised Brooksley Born. (While everyone else in the trading rooms trashed her.)

It is after all, okay to be rich. What is wrong is to be rich because you have rigged the system, such as happened for the last sixteen years, with no, absolutely no, oversight of the big financial insittutions.

6. You might be thinking of Buffett's grand-daughter-by-adoption
She made some comments about his wealth on a documentary, and then he more-or-less cut her off.

'Rise like Lions after slumber
In unvanquishable number -
Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you -
Ye are many - they are few.'

I really don't understand why so many people are so stupid. We will never have any of the kind of action we need when so many people are so blind.

Even the occasional, tiny advances we make serve a control purpose. They make us feel like there is hope within the system, when the vast majority of the time, the system exists to steal from you and give to the criminals who are in charge.

Even violence would be spun against us through the media that they own. The working class could only win in a sustained fight, a long campaign of guerilla warfare that would require the support of most of the population, if it were to be successful. We could never win a real battle. There are still plenty of soldiers who will follow orders. And plenty of cops who get off on asserting authority over non-cops.

They have so much that they are in a position to control the meaning of everything significant that occurs in society. They don't even have to act together, just plenty of them all thinking the same way: we are better than the peasants. That attitude permeates everything. They stick to supporting their own at every turn. They all identify with each other, excuse each others' reprehensible behavior, and make excuses to tell themselves why they deserve all they have, and we do not.

Meanwhile most of us on the bottom would like to silence half of the other bottom dwellers. Amazing how it's such a stable system.

The working class can never win. All we can hope for is that the next power struggle can produce better results. We live and hope on the charity of the disaffected elite.
