Sierra Madre Measure V Special Election - Real Estate Developers LOSE!
Measure V was put on the ballot to stop developers and real estate
corporations from taking what is a quaint small L.A. County foothill
city and turning it into the usual hellish McCondo nightmare.

The developers and real estate people pumped $170,000 into the
campaign to defeat Measure V, and still lost.

The final total:

Yes 1,796 (51%)
No 1,703 (49%)

We beat the bastards!
