As little as it is, it was the only hope of any competition.

It is clear that the Senate leadership falls to the old kneepads whenever it comes to Joe the Liar. So it will be up to us. What can we do?

1. Lieberman will not destroy ANY chance of a public option
He just wants a public option that is favorable to the insurance companies in his state that have paid him over a million dollars.

He will favor a public option that contains all the high risk members. If insurance companies force all unhealthy and high risk people to the public option, it only increases their bottom line. This is the public option that Lieberman favors and will hold out for, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Democrats give it to him.

That's why people need to be careful about supporting ANY public option. There are some scenarios that are worse than no public option at all.

6. I don't know. They're gonna water it down until he will agree to vote for cloture.
We'll end up with an even weaker PO, and there will be no winners, but the GOP will claim a victory.
