So exactly why did we bend over backwards for Leiberman?!?! (Leiberman intends to Fillibuster)

Scroll down to the bottom and note:
"Joe Lieberman, an independent who caucuses with the Dems and represents the insurer-packed state of Connecticut, says he’ll filibuster Reid’s plan, Politico reports. (He recently told the Hill that his stance on the health overhaul is shaped by his concerns about the federal deficit, not by the health insurance industry, by the way.)"

1. Concern for the deficit my ass
Funny how all these 'fiscal cons' had no problem with Bush exploding the national debt for his illegal war in Iraq.

I wondered the same thing about the Dems' kissing up to Olympia Snowe - complete waste of time and energy, and last I checked, we did not elect her or LIEberman president.

2. I always wondered that?
After the way Lieberman stabbed Obama in the back during the election.. Obama gave him a free pass and welcomed him back. It didn't make sense?

I know, bi-partisan, turn the other cheek and all that.. but not in politics, especially when when you are dealing with snakes like Lieberman.

3. We should bend him over
and stick a sharp object where the sun doesn't shine.

4. I remember saying
the first chance he gets to put the knife in he will. Now the little publicity seeking p-k is all over the news doing what he does best oozing Uriah Heep like sanctimony.

if there was ever a man who needed to wake up with a horses head in his bed - this is the man.

I have to go break something now.

what really gets me in the end is I Knew he was going to do this and I don't even work with the man - how the hell couldn't they see this coming.

5. I have the same question about Olympia Snowe.
Why did we do this for both of them?

6. It's a good question but it's worse with Leiberman. He caucuses with us but actually campaigned
against our Presidential candidate, including spreading nasty lies about the candidate.
