I Have Posted A Daily Kos Diary About The BlueCross BlueShield Postcard

DUer Lex posted her pictures here showing how Blue Cross of NC has sent out mailings to try and trash health care reform with the public and get citizens to specifically address Sen. Hagan. After them telling us that the public option is slippery slope to single-payer, federal government intervention in the private health insurance market, they ask you to send a postcard to her.

I had done almost the exact same thing Friday and put it in the mail Saturday, but didn't have time to post on it. When I saw Lex's thread I decided we should get as much publicity for this among North Carolinians as possible, and so I wrote an extensive diary with photos of my postcard at Daily Kos. If DUers would be so kind as to go and recommend and comment on it. I would like to see as many postcards subverted from their original intention as possible:

I haven't gotten one of these postcards, but should they do so I will be more than happy to send it along to my Senator (with the appropriate editing) at the expense of Blue Cross. It only seems proper that Blue Cross wants us to share our (or perhaps their) thoughts on the matter and is willing to pay for us to do so. I would just "hate" to disappoint them by not sending the postcard.

so hate these people...they told me I had to drive 300 miles for an xray....told woman on phone I felt sorry for her that she had job to deny people...she told me "I LOVE MY JOB...BEEN DOING IT FOR 15 YRS" there you go....wonder how much $$$ she makes.

We haven't gotten the card so far. I noticed on KOS site that some may not have gotten the card if they are business owners who have to have private plan. Since that applies to us we may not receive the card.

But, last week we faxed Hagan and asked her to support the "Medicare +5" plan that was being talked about. Haven't heard any more about that proposal, though. Still we told her that we had donated to her and urged her her support. We also sent fax to Brad Miller urging the "Medicare +5."

12. Hey Hissy...we JUST GOT THE DAMNED THING TODAY IN MAIL!

Excuse full caps but the replies in your thread on Daily Kos seemed to say that "self-employed/Small Business..would not get these "reply cards" from BCBS.

We are Small Business owners in NC...and in the mail TODAY was the EVIL EMPIRE. So, I'm gonna' do what you recommend!

Kay Hagan can't get enough "Feed BACK" from this NC'linian!
