Bloomberg has outspent him by miles and continues to tout his popularity as an independent.

With that said, I can imagine a lot of NYC Dems voting for Bloomberg.

2. Yep...
Mike is gonna buy another term. He got rid of the term limits law because after all term limits are for the little people. I can't stand the arrogant son of a bitch. These rich guys who think they can buy or sell anything they want. He's going to beat Thompson by a huge margin and the bastard still runs negative ads and sends out negative mailings. Piling on much Mikey? Oh yeah a lot of stupid outer borough "Dems" will vote for him. Me.. I figure since Thompson is going to get slaughtered anyway I'll vote Green or Socialist for mayor and for my Democratic council member. She's done a good job and deserves another term.

4. He sounds like Ruth Messinger without the glitz.
:eyes:

At this rate, we're gonna have to get the Big Dog to move into the city from Chappaqua in order to end the reign of the guy a friend of Mom's calls the "tiny fascist". :eyes:

5. Why do people vote for him?....
I mean it's obvious he's buying the election, oh well he can't be in office forever.

6. What A Rotten Choice This Time Around
Bloomberg who gamed the system and cheated for a 3rd term or Thompson who inspires little confidence.

The day after Bloomberg pushed the 3rd term through the city council a poll came out that said a large majority of NYers didn't think he should have one. Don't tell me he didn't know how this was running so he went through the back door to get what he wanted.

7. It's sad to watch the Big Daddy syndrome that's taken over NY since Rudy, exacerbated by 9/11....
