POLITICO: Fox Ratings Are Up, NIELSEN: Fox Ratings Are Down
Well, guess what? Glenn Beck ratings are not up this week. In fact, they're down as compared to last week even though the topic of the White House/Fox News fueled has exploded this week across the media landscape. All the pundits who announced the White House completely screwed up by fact-checking Fox News, were sure Fox News' ratings were going to soar. Except they haven't. Instead, they've gone down this week.

So "through the roof" apparently means they went down slightly. Who knew?

4. The diarist poses a question at the end of his/her piece...
"So my question is, does Politico bother fact checking its stories at all or do they just copy and paste press releases from Fox?"

Answer: No to the first part, yes to the second.

Politico is Talon News with a touch of polish, polish that is wearing off more and more lately, imo.

6. Faux counts the number of homes with tv's that are capable of tuning them in
I've heard Bill O brag about that. 'We're in 98 million homes'....

So, not counting the stores and Dr.s offices where they are subjected on a captive audience, I'd guess 18 people prob watch faux, 5 of those are from Media Matters.
