Caption THIS ...tho it speaks for itself.
This is a Grayhound bus station.....NOT an airport.
And those are now " TSA Officers", NOT " security".

2. In The Flesh

So ya
Thought ya
Might like to
Go to the show.
To feel that warm thrill of confusion,
That space cadet glow.
I've got some bad news for you sunshine,
Pink isn't well, he stayed back at the hotel
And they sent us along as a surrogate band
We're gonna find out where you folks really stand.

Are there any queers in the theater tonight?
Get them up against the wall!
There's one in the spotlight, he don't look right to me,
Get him up against the wall!
That one looks Jewish!
And that one's a coon!
Who let all of this riff-raff into the room?
There's one smoking a joint,
And another with spots!
If I had my way,
I'd have all of you shot!

Pink Floyd
The Wall

ah, what the hell, let's get everyone used to traffic stops, random searches, pat downs, identity checks and any other thing we can think of. Who gives a fuck about the 4th amendment anyway? Jeez, border patrol, dea, tsa, swat, ice, and every other agency seems to be in on this one.

this country has lost it's liberty, it's dead and it ain't coming back. Ever.

12. You guys are way behind the times if you think this is new.
Customs agents regularly board Greyhound buses now, at least in border states, and ask whether you're a US citizen. The bus doesn't have to have been traveling across any borders. They don't exactly demand to see your papers the way they would at the border, but they do ask you your citizenship. This happens routinely in places like Buffalo, Rochester and in Erie, Pa. Happens on Amtrak trains, too.

It's just crazy, I think. But I understand the same thing happens in Texas and other states along the Mexican border. The bus doesn't have to be anywhere near a Mexican border crossing (just as it doesn't have to be near a Canadian border crossing) and they still come on and quiz everyone.

I thought this crap was going to die with the Bush administration. But it's not gone yet. We still can't travel freely on intercity transportation within the bounds of the United States without getting quizzed by Customs. It doesn't surprise me to see the TSA monitoring bus stations.
