5. Depends on the population in any given area
Since they don't have any natural enemies I don't have a problem with the hunting IF the DNR decides they need to be culled in an area.

I would prefer they are tranquilized and moved to the wilderness.

13. yes
As much as I like wolves (even though one got my cat), they are decimating the elk herds here by killing the calves. Wolves kill just to kill whether they are hungry or not. We know this because the calf carcasses are found all over. I don't want the wolves all destroyed, we just need them thinned out.

14. Humans, generally intent on killing inconveniences... How did life ever evolve w/o ...
human management... Here, they're trying to kill the deer... where I last lived they were trying to kill wild pigs because they got into the exceptionally wealthy areas gardens. I have a disdain for hunters with telescopic lenses, laser sights whatever preying on other species... just my take, others think differently I'm sure. I'm tired of overpopulation by humans slowly destroying the earth and human violence, but that doesn't justify hunting humans.

17. Without context, this is a difficult question to answer.
"Do you believe people should be allowed to drink booze?"

Well, which people? When? Under what circumstances? What kind of booze?

Broadly, the answer has to be "yes." More specifically, I could find good reasons to vote "no."

20. Once populations reach a certain level in a given territory, then "Yes"
Hunting is an important game management tool. That is as true for wolves as it is for deer. But hunting regulations must be very carefully drawn. I certainly don't endorse the kind of bounty hunting for wolves that almost completely destroyed the species.

22. That's why there are hunts now.
Science says the populations are at sustainable levels. But the anti-science sentiment around here when it comes to charismatic megafauna is crazy. DU is against wildlife biology.
