Its just another communist plot trying to mass inocculate, then it will be the mandatory identification chip. Wake up america, there is no pandemic nor will there be, its less of a flu strain than last years! Its about money and and goverment control!

Colombia

The only National Emergency is what the democrats are trying to do to this country ..

tmp21849

I agree with ZMAN61. I've been expecting the administration to cook up some sort of national emergency as an excuse to declare martial. I fear we may have seen our last free election.

12. We're "hipping ourselves to death"
We've become so worldly-wise and cynical that we'll end up dying because we are SURE that the whole world is a scam, an evil plot, and a money-making Ponzi scheme.

Fear of "getting took" is probably one of the strongest social phobias these days; it's in full bloom on the Internet. (It's quite well represented here at DU, too.) And nobody has even looked into how many people have died doing self-destructive things out of the desire to prove to the world "you can't fool me!"

21. It is potentially an emergency
and the declaration is there like for hurricanes.

Don't expect most people to understand what this means... or why this is the right thing to do...

:banghead:

After all the conspiracy started in Mexico... RIGHT... I WAS THERE when it started... so try to sell that to somebody else.

Oh and I forgot, exactly who is the world health organization shilling for?

Remember how horrible the bird flu was? Day after day hype from the corporate media. Trouble is this is for real and kids are dying.

24. Actually it is closely related to THE bird flu
in that it was most likely carried from a bird to a pig

the idea that there was THE bird flu is a fine example of how toned down discussion of real issues is in this country (not elsewhere). IN 50 years 80% of the world population will acquire a disease from a bird if 2 or 3 steps removed.

As long as they stayed inside and away from normal people, that is.
