Rachel Maddow has a well-deserved reputation for deep and thorough research. If she says Bush never gave the NY Times a second interview, then that's what happened.

I'm also very sure that the Times and/or members of the Bush administration would be jumping all over her by now if she was wrong, but all I hear are crickets.

Of course, you're always welcome to do your own deep and thorough research to try to disprove her.
