cutting their pay means nothing.
does anyone imagine that cutting their pay cuts their influence and ability to buy influence in washington?

that's the ONLY point -- there is no other point -- as long as any corporate interests are able to buy their way into the backdoors of political power and influence -- write their own laws -- write treaties that affect the rest of the country -- this is bulll shit.

oh it looks good -- it's 'romantic' in that don quixote kinda way - but it's meaningless ovwer the long haul.
