Why was Joe Scarborough so loud and obnoxious this morning? .
Even moreso than normal.

He got into a shouting match with Lawrence O'Donnell about WMDs and was defending GWB as an honest party in the debate. Surprisingly, Lawrence was the one under control.

I know there are people that do not watch this crap and we do not need another lecture.

4. It was unusual.
He was more confrontational and louder than usual. Maybe because he was in CA and it was very early and he was on remote? I wonder if something else is going on? Are Joe's days numbered on MSNBC? Is he talking with FOX already?

Not sayin he is, but that is the vibe I get (yes, I am the offspring of alcoholic father who could be very charming and sucker a lot of people, then be a real SOB)

7. I would attribute it to the early morning hour and the remote.
It was 4:00 in the morning out there, and he didn't have anyone around him to tether him to earth. The hot gas inflated his head and without an actual living person next to him, he felt free to be his own disgusting, obnoxious self. I mean, more so than the toned-down version he portrays on his morning Campaign 2012 Focus Group.

5. It's probably a good idea to keep an eye on Joe
I am grateful to those of you who can stomach the task and bring us updates.

Joe does seem to have a temper, doesn't he? O'Donnell may be on the right track. DEMS on Joe's set should work to wheedle him into losing his temper every chance they get. Time to expose his temper to the wider audience.

10. Joltin Joe Scarborough is still thinking about a run for the Presidency in 2012.
In todays political climate, he needs to have material to turn into campaign adds that shows him being loud and obnoxious toward Democrats/Liberals/Progressives (or those on the right who are perceived as Democrats/Liberals/Progressives). With the Conservative Purity movement in full swing, he has not chance otherwise.

12. I think it was because Cheney raised his evil head again
talking about Obama using the Bush administration's strategy in the Afghan War. From what I saw, the criticism was just too difficult for Joe to handle because it's hard to defend Cheney and separate himself at the same time. Poor Joe :sarcasm:

13. How can anyone still defend Bush and expect to be taken seriously?
With the vast majority of Americans, Bush has come to personify arrogance, lies, and failure.
