robocalls from health(sic) Insurance lobby 1-866-441-3070

I just got a robocall something like (not verbatim) "This is the Coalition for Medicare Choices, calling to tell you about the health plans in Congress that would cut benefits for millions of Seniors on Medicare."

That's when I hung up, since I couldn't follow my impulse and fire a revolver through the phone.

I assume they were trying to save the cuts to the fees for Medicare Advantage. That's the way they usually present that, that it's service cuts, not fee savings.

I just called the number back and got the recorded message. It is Medicare Advantage. They're asking people to leave their contact info so they can organize "meetings."

I may just tell them about a few of my imaginary friends who would like to attend meetings. Plus, it costs them money when you call their toll free number.

recognize the # so I'm just going to assume it was from the same people! I don't believe it.
