My little loan/credit tale to tell...
I have a loan with CitiFi, I had to get the loan for home repairs and modifications; even with a 730 credit score a lot of places were not letting go of any funds at the time, so CitiFi is what I got.

Anyway, the like to call once in awhile to see if I am willing to take more of their insanely high interest loans and I always say no because that would be financial suicide for us.

Last Wednesday I got on of those very calls, asking me if I was interested in this or that. Of course I said no, "however there is one thing I am interested in, how about a lower interest rate?" the lady on the phone said "Let me look and see what we can do I will call you about in 20 to 30min." "Great" I said....

Well, its been several days now and she has not returned with information about my inquiry...what does that tell ya? the current interest rate is murder and I can not get anyone to take over the loan with out a rate that is just as murderous.

4. I know...
but I find it highly unprofessional and cowardice of them to not return the call.

6. Agree. But what do they care? They dispensed with "customer service"
long ago. Jerks. :(

2. Good for you.....
holding on to a 730 in this day is nothing to sneeze at.

A couple of years ago my parents had something similar. It turns out they had an item on one of the reports that wasn't on the other two. Somehow, it wasn't in their score but kept showing up when they tried a refi. Once they found it and got it cleared, suddenly everything opened back up.
