Jinda, Vitter, JP Keith Bardwell & the Marriage Mess
Keith Bardwell is a Justice of the Peace in Tangipahoa Parish. Tangipahoa Parish is part of the 1st Congressional District of Louisiana.

Tangapahoa is the 11th most populated parish in Louisiana. The district includes some or all of the following Louisiana parishes: Washington, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Jefferson, Orleans and St. Charles. It includes the cities of Hammond and Slidell and most of the western suburbs of New Orleans that include Metairie and Kenner, along with a small portion of the city itself.

It has become a very safe Republican District seat and both David Vitter and Bobby Jimdal represented this district in Congress.

Keith Bardwell has been a JP for 34 years in Tangipahoa. I don't believe that Vitter and Jindal don't know the man. I would be interested to know if they knew of his views on marriage. Bardwell says he only refused to marry about 4 couple in the last 2.5 years. I find that hard to believe.

If you hear about this from the MSM, it sounds as if Tangipahoa is some small place at the edge of the swamp. Bardwell may be backwards, but he isn't in some remote, unknown part of Louisiana.

I wonder how widespread this issue is in Louisiana and other states.

1. There's a whole crop of Bardwells who live south of I-12, just north of the lake.
The ones I met were racist to the core, and dumber than a bag of hammers.

2. I know some people in SC just like that.
Cousins under their genes, I'm sure.

3. The Bardwell story sticks in the craw. Bardwell's "Justice of the Peace" sign
ALONE sticks in the craw.

If "in his heart" Bardwell doesn't feel that he's done anything wrong then in his mind, such as it is, he should be challenged on a few elemental Constitutional points.

The phrase "disgusting racist throwback" pops to mind almost immediately.
