1. Anyone who says that deserves Sarah Palin - just don't saddle the rest of us with her

3. stray, I really want Silly Sarah around as much as possible.
first, she has an enormous grasp of willful ignorance, deliberate stupidity and convenient illiteracy. You can't teach that. It only comes naturally.
second, her normal line of bullshit is almost as entertaining as Michelle Bachmann's. She cannot help herself, and will say something truly, well, Sarahesque.
lastly, the more people see her, the more they will be shocked that she represents the GOP. Which she does all too well.

Kennedy used to love racist cracker southern pols who were bitching about voting rights. He was right. When your enemy is so obscenely gross and ineffective, you want them on the air all the time.

2. You had me going. I think people who are all over Obama should consider where
we might be today had President Gore and President Kerry been inaugurated.

10. And that's why he's not demanding single payer or a public option.
He knows we will vote for him either way. But how many people would again work their tail off to get him reelected? He better remember who helped him get where he is. He needs us. Come 2012, he's gonna need people knocking on doors and phone banking. It takes passion to do those things and all this caution and center-right-ism squelch passion.

12. The thread title is so misleading
I hate threads that have this style of title with a disclaimer in the post that follows.

16. It's 'Politically Correct'?
I don't think so and it's aggravating to some of us who expect truth on OP titles. I don't want to click on something that the OP is trying to cleverly disguise and waste my time reading nonsense.

21. I didn't think 'troll' since
I've seen many posts by the OP over the years. I just dislike this type misleading thread title where the OP thinks he/she is being cute, funny, clever, etc.

13. Who in their right mind would want the presidency of a dying empire...
Edited on Sun Oct-18-09 08:38 PM by roamer65
on the verge of a hyperinflationary depression? I know I certainly would not want it.

If Obama wants a second term, he can have it.
