1. Reporters don't care about Iraq anymore. Afghanistan is the new big thing!
The soldiers still stuck in Iraq are just boring now!

Also, we have great stories about Balloon boys and what not! Who needs Iraq news anymore!? :sarcasm:

and there are still troops in Germany, Japan, Kosovo, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Korea, etc. even long after the end of those conflicts. I guess McCain was right... we will be in Iraq/Afghanistan for 100 years.

4. Iraq maybe, but Afghanistan will be more like Vietnam. The last
Americans will be airlifted to safety.
