(Human Rights Campaign) calls vandalism damage 'minimal'; ‘Quit leaving queers behind’ painted
Source: Washington Blade

Vandalism at the Human Rights Campaign headquarters was minimal and has already been removed by the organization, according to an HRC spokesperson.

The building’s entrance was vandalized over the weekend, and the damage included a message in pink paint that read “Quit leaving queers behind.”

... A group calling itself “Queers Against Assimilation” took credit for the act in response to a blog posting at Lez Get Real, which was first to report the vandalism at HRC.

Calling the act “glam-dalism,” the poster wrote that “a crew of radical queer and allied folks armed with pink and black paint and glitter grenades” committed the vandalism.

“The HRC is not a democratic or inclusive institution, especially for the people who they claim to represent,” says the post. “Just like society today, the HRC is run by a few wealthy elites who are in bed with corporate sponsors who proliferate militarism, hetero-normativity, and capitalist exploitation.”

3. I had to jump on a glitter grenade once to save a friend
Who had gone to a predominantly GLBT club with my wife and I. I was ok though as the two ladies licked the glitter from my body later. Very healing.

7. How fun!

I think I'm in love...
