Single-payer is the only real answer, but it's not in the cards.

4. Make healthcare truly affordable for everyone
I voted for single payer but I realize that's not in the cards for the forseeable future. In the meantime, I have come to a point where I care less about terminology and more about results. I make $33,500 a year and am paying over $5k of that in health premiums and they go up every year, with a decrease in coverage every time they do.

There are millions of us out here who get up and go to work every day and find ourselves having to sacrifice more and more just to try to keep shitty coverage that gets shittier every year. It's time to put a stop to that. It's time to put a stop to denial of coverage for pre-existing conditions. It's time to put a stop to insurance companies routinely denying claims as a tool to increase their bottom lines.

However we accomplish these goals, that's what I'm for. If all we get is more of the same, fuck it, I quit. What's the point of working if all I do is hand over my paycheck to an insurance company?
