25F at present. As the corn dries out in the field it looks to be a great day for sun-bathing and that last swim in the millpond.

1. Same for southern New Hampshire.
I'm going to pick the last of the ground cherries today because I think they'll be ice tomorrow. The leaves are at peak color and it's going to be a gorgeous day to putter around the garden.

2. And It Would Still Be In The Fields?
I took a ride not far from the Wisconsin border recently...most the fields have been harvested. Looks like this year was a very good growing season...not too hot, plenty of precipitation.

While this hard frost is early...it was 24 degrees out my window this morning, one would hope all the summer crops have been in the harvesters for weeks now.

5. Actually, yeilds are down around 125 per acre in many parts of WI
Weather stalled lots of planting and cool temps slowed development. Still lots of corn standing in the fields around me, of course, when things are harvested is somewhat situational.
