1. Ask and you shall receive
The Los Angeles Police Department plans to present its criminal case against Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, to the LA district attorney as early as Monday, a source told ABC News today.

Murray remains the focus of a manslaughter investigation into the pop star's death. Another source told ABC News that while the DA may be presented with the case imminently, it's likely to take another "several weeks" for the DA to decide whether to bring charges against Murray. If they bring a case, they'll most likely do it via grand jury, but they could also charge Murray through a criminal complaint.

That means any indictment wouldn't happen for at least another month, and any trial could be about six months away.

3. Everytime I read the list of drugs in MJs system,
it just floors me. The incompetence is staggering and I don't care if MJ was addicted to drugs. His addiction makes him uniquely unqualified to say, "Stop". The dr was the medical professional and should've been the voice of reason in that room. It's too bad he may lose his medical license for other reasons before he has a chance to lose it in MJs case, if there is a case and then if he's found guilty, of course.

A loooooooooong time ago, I saw a dr accidentally or on purpose (I still don't know) overdose a patient with morphine. I worked in the lab at the time and we had just taken about a half a liter or so of blood from this particular patient. So the combination of the respiratory suppressant morphine AND the fact that we had just taken red cells that carry oxygen away that this patient was used to having, within a few minutes, I couldn't get a blood pressure. It was horrible, the patient was terminal so I've often wondered if it was an accident or not or what happened. All I know is that as soon as the dr started the Morphine, which was weird...dr's don't usually do that anwyay, the lab tech I worked with and I both were like WHAT? WHAT? I was only a phlebotomist, but I knew we were in for a bad scene. We stayed in the room because we knew the guy was gonna code, and he did. I don't know what happened to the dr, now I would have made it my business but I was a nothing more than a kid back then.

4. Im glad you asked....
The main stream media seemed to have stopped reporting on the case after the autopsy report was leaked. And fyi, the report indicated NO drugs other than propofol was found in MJ's body. I dont know why Conman Murray is still walking free.

6. There were, indeed, other drugs found in Michael Jackson's body.
From NBC:
"The drugs propofol and lorazepam were found to be the primary drugs responsible for Mr. Jackson's death," according to a news release issued Friday morning from the coroner's office. "Other drugs detected were: Midazolam, Diazepam, Lidocaine and Ephedrine."

From BBC:
Propofol and the sedative Lorazepam were the "primary drugs responsible for Mr Jackson's death".

New York Times:
Michael Jackson’s official autopsy report indicated that the surgical anesthetic propofol in combination with three other sedatives probably stopped the pop star’s breathing and killed him, said an anesthesiologist who reviewed the document.

Midazolam: Midazolam is used to produce sleepiness or drowsiness and to relieve anxiety before surgery or certain procedures. Midazolam is also given to produce amnesia (loss of memory) so that the patient will not remember any discomfort or undesirable effects that may occur after a surgery or procedure . It is also used to produce loss of consciousness before and during surgery.

Diazepam: Diazepam injection is used to relieve symptoms of anxiety and alcohol withdrawal. It may also be used to treat certain seizure disorders and help relax muscles or relieve muscle spasm...This medicine may also be used before a surgery or medical procedure to help relieve stress, nervousness, or anxiety and to reduce memory of the procedure.
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/drug-information/DR602791

Lidocaine: Lidocaine belongs to the family of medicines called local anesthetics. When lidocaine is applied to the skin, it produces pain relief by blocking the signals at the nerve endings in the skin. Lidocaine topical systems are used to relieve pain and discomfort associated with herpes zoster virus infection of the skin (shingles).

Ephedrine: Ephedrine (EPH) is a sympathomimetic amine commonly used as a stimulant, appetite suppressant, concentration aid, decongestant, and to treat hypotension associated with anaesthesia. Ephedrine is similar in structure to the (semi-) synthetic derivatives amphetamine and methamphetamine.
