As you witness the media coverage of VT, think of IRAQ!
That country routinely deals with daily death counts of the same and greater magnitude. American media will devote thousands of hours of coverage to every detail of this horrific incident over the next few weeks and months. The amount of time devoted to the Iraqi daily death toll by the media is equal to a minor league baseball score each night.

It seems that senseless death is only highly sellable to advertisers when it fits a certain category.
