2. The main pressure they are feeling is the push of demand

Folks talk of banning their weapon, or otherwise criminalize a weapon, sales skyrocket. Sales never suffer after a weapon is used in a tragedy, perversely, they seem to increase as the discussion of bans and what-not get bandied about.

There's been no talk of banning Glocks, so I don't see why demand would be increasing.

7. There has been discussion of the fact that he was using high

capacity magazines that were banned under the AWB. I may be wrong on the Glock surge, but if discussion on the HCM increases even Gungeonites will be rushing to buy up the mags. Do a search, the archives are full of our posters who support the under siege poor gun mans.

I've heard only heard rumors, nothing substantial. Besides, by witness accounts he had an ammo vest, and the difference in rate of fire between a 10 round post-ban and a 15/19 round pre-ban would be negligable. Then again, nothing says that any law passed has to make sense. After all, who would want to engage in something complex (like upgrading our NICS) when we could pass legislation against objects?

10. Glock's site has been up and down lately.

I remember it was down just like this about a month ago. I don't think it was related. By the way, does anyone have _solid_ information on what weapons this guy was carrying? I hear that it was a 9mm and a .22, or two 9mms, that he was using high-cap mags, that he purchased his guns on the black market, etc. One thing that's for sure is that his accuracy was terrifying. He killed twice as many as Charles Whitman with pistols, and he wasn't even ex-military.
